| Article number: kb-87 | Q. How Do I Confirgure My Outlook Express For POP Access?
A. Configuring Outlook Express For POP Access Is Simple Enough. Start Outlook Express and then Add Account keeping following in mind as configuration parameters:
(1) Select POP as access protocol (not IMAP or HTML)
(2) Incoming Mailserver and Outgoing Mailserver are as in your welcome mail on account activation. In general it is:
Incoming Mailserver : mail.yourdomain.tld
Outgoing Mailserver: mail.yourdomain.tld
Username : emailaddress (not just username)
Password : passwordthatyourset
The mail accounts are set from your cpanel account from under the Mail icon
tld in above is com/net/org/in/info/us/biz or whatever is your domain extension.
