| Article number: kb-43 | Q. I Uploaded Files Through PHP program and now i cannot delete files from FTP. What do i do?
A. Open a Support Ticket mentioning following details:
- The Directory/ Directories on your account where the files are uploaded
- The list of files to be deleted.
- If entire Directory is to be deleted then the name of the directory/directories.
- The Path to the Directory/Directories as you would see in any FTP Client.
All actions would be irreversible, so please be sure and doublecheck what you would want deleted.
If your php program did not have a "Delete Feature" and only upload feature was there, these type of problems are bound to happen. Safest bet is to upload through FTP. These are related to ownership issues. If you do not have a FTP client at hand, you could do a limited uploading from one of our free utilities at
Manage Ip's. Please note that since Manage Ip's is a Free Service, there are certain restrictions placed with respect to size and bandwidth usage so as to avoid abuse.
